BUSH SCHOOL
Our signature programme aimed at 7-13 year olds.
A wonderfully immersive and transformative experience that combines wonder whilst wandering. Where children are gifted the time and space to follow their CURIOSITY, develop deep connections with others, and GROW in confidence. All whilst being in the healing and calming effects of nature.
This programme facilitates the development of life skills such as collaboration, co operation, communication, teamwork and persistence whilst solving problems through creative and imaginative thinking. Their confidence in themselves grows which they take back to their life and their learning elsewhere.
They will develop important life skills by developing and advancing their bush craft skills through:
shelter building - fire starting and cooking - bush exploration & navigation - using knives as tools - making hunting and gathering implements - crafting with natural materials - problem solving challenges - survival first aid - and more….
Each term they will graduate from the programme with their own piece of survival equipment and when they have proved themselves responsible and capable they will receive a knife or flint.
This programme runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and each day is limited to just 15 children. This enables us to be able develop the best relationship with your child, understand them better and to help unlock their potential.

The days are longer and the weather hopefully drier and hotter - we are sure to have many adventures and be able to wander further afield, to the beach, estuary and mountain tops (location dependent). As autumn arrives we will enjoy foraging and cooking blackberries and apples.

Autumn and Winter brings a variety of weathers that put our survival skills to the test. As we deal with the warm, the wind and rain we love building sturdier shelters, venturing further and cooking lunches on camp stoves and fires

The days are growing longer and nature is waking from it’s sleepy slumber - well, not so much in the native bush!
With energy on the up there is nothing like getting in nature to soothe the soul, increase Vit D, boost immunity and have a whole heap of fun and adventures with other great children whilst exploring, as well as learning new skills. We will continue to enjoy and experience a variety of weathers and our wanderings will take us to different locations to practice and refine survival skills as well as enjoy the discovery of what nature shows us..
